Lorien from 2HaTs (http://reborn-by-design.com/weblog.htm) just sent me an email mentioning that our sites were listed in the Computers Section of Ynet, Yediot Aharonot's website. Yediot Aharonot ("The Latest News") is one of Israel's main newspapers, and that explains why the traffic more than doubled in the last few days. ;-)

"לבמבה" של אסם יש יותר תקציב מאשר להסברה הישראלית", כך אמר ח"כ מיכאל איתן במסגרת ישיבה של וועדת האינטרנט של הכנסת, בה נדונה סוגיית ההסברה הישראלית ברשת האינטרנט. בישיבה התברר, כי סך כל תקציב ההסברה של מדינת ישראל עומד על 10 מיליון דולר בשנה, ומתוך סכום זה מופנה 5 אחוז להסברה באינטרנט.

חבר הכנסת איתן לא ציין שהטעם של "במבה" עולה בהרבה על הטעם בהסברה ישראלית ממשלתית באינטרנט. הסיבה: עיתונאים זרים מתרחקים מכל מה שמריח מתעמולה באינטרנט ולאתרי התעמולה המובהקים נכנסים המשוכנעים מראש. אתרי משרד החוץ, משרד ראש הממשלה ואתרי צה"ל עושים עבודה סבירה בתחומם ואין צורך להוסיף אתרים חדשים.

אתרי ההסברה הישראליים המועילים באמת הם האתרים האותנטיים, הלא רשמיים, שפתחו בחודשיים האחרונים גולשים בישראל ותומכי ישראל בעולם מיוזמתם ובהתנדבות. בלוגים (יומני רשת) אלה פונים לגולשים בשפתם ומאפשרים להם להגיב. "הסברה באינטרנט" היא כיום מושג ריק מתוכן ומהות. אם ממשלת ישראל רוצה להועיל ולא לבזבז כספים, שתתמוך בבלוגים הישראליים ותסייע בהפצתם.
